Here’s a peek into the minds of the models.  In between producing incredible photos that make the clothes look great, they’re hamming it up for the camera.

It’s officially summertime.  Time to accessorize those backyard barbecues and poolside parties with some incredible Karl Lagerfeld sunglasses and scarves!  The sale begins July 7, at 7 am PST… 7/7 @7!

After a hard day’s work of prepping and directing the Flavio Castellani shoot ( and trying not to fall off of ladders), Chris filmed Johnny and Kat “cleaning up” the set.

So you see the magazine spreads where models bask in a tropical paradise even though it’s February, or frolicking in the autumn leaves when it’s still 89 degrees outside.  Do you ever wonder how they do it?  Well let me tell you, it’s no easy feat, and not nearly as glamorous as I always thought.  When prepping for the Flavio Castellani shoot, Johnny decided that the coats needed an appropriate environment… snow.  How exactly does one make it appear to be snowing in the heart of Southern California in the middle of summer?  After sifting through several ideas, including feathers, we settled on off-green styrofoam peanuts (thank goodness for photoshop).

Next thing I know, there I am, balancing precariously at the top of a 15 foot ladder with a big box of styrofoam in each hand.  I am already 5’10 and always resented my height, so the additional 15 feet induced some “fear of heights” flashbacks that hailed to  5th grade, when I was already 5’6 and towering over all of the boys I had crushes on.

Heights aside, back to the  shoot. As I was shaking the boxes, the wall was shaking too,  and I tried shift my concentration from imminent bone breaks to sifting the foam evenly to create the appearance of snow.  Thankfully, my efforts paid off.  With Johnny directing, and Chris filming, the video came out incredibly.  After checking out the video, check out the sale, which began today!
